Our fine staff at The Courtyards provides supportive assistance with the activities of daily living such as dressing, bathing, meal preparation and medication management in a clean, comfortable, friendly and professional surrounding. We have individual call systems in each accommodation and Licensed Practical Nurses and Personal Care Attendants for your peace of mind. You may receive as much or as little assistance as you desire. You can maintain your independence with our gentle and subtle support.

The Courtyards Adult Care in Hamburg, New York has been family owned for over 30 years. Our greatest accomplishment: staff tenure. One out of three people at the Courtyards has been there for over ten years. Their combined experience contributes to a high-level of care and a family-style atmosphere which makes life at the Courtyards as comfortable as home.

Our facility is staffed 24-hours a Day. We utilize Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), Med Pass Personnel and Personal Care Aides to provide around-the-clock care, security, and supervision.
ACTIVITIES OF DAILY LIVING (ADLs)
ADLs are routine activities that people tend to do every day, without needing assistance. At times it becomes necessary for an individual to require help with certain activities, and our 24-hour Personal Care Aides are here to offer assistance with these needs. Including:

Hygiene (bathing, grooming, shaving, and oral care)

Continence Care

Dressing
-
Transferring (actions such as going from a seated to standing position and getting in and out of bed)
We individualize your needs to help maintain the highest level of independence.
MEDICATION MANAGEMENT
Our LPN and certified Med Pass staff provide medication management as prescribed by a Medical Doctor. To ensure medication is given and taken in as timely a manner as prescribed we will monitor its effectiveness with the physician.
