Hello,

We have some wonderful news to share!

The NYSDOH has given directive that the residents can now have visitors in their room. There are strict guidelines that need to be followed. Here is the list of rules that must be strictly adhered to at all times.

Do not come into the facility if you are ill or have had exposure to anyone with covid or signs and symptoms of covid in the last 14 days regardless of visitor’s vaccination status.

*The visiting hours will be 10 am to 4 pm daily, please limit your visit to 45 minutes as we have to limit the amount of visitors in the building at one time

*Avoid visiting at dinner time, first and third floor are served dinner at 11:45 – 12:30, Second floor are served dinner at 12:45 – 1:30.

*Screening at the door will be as follows: there is a table outside our front door. On that table there will be sanitizer for your hands, pens in a clean and dirty container, once you use it please place it in the dirty container so that we can sanitize. There will be questionnaires to fill out regarding covid exposure and travel. Fill out the form, once you fill that out you will come into the building and the front desk staff will take your temperature. Your temp needs to be under 99.9.

*Two visitors at a time in the room

*Masks must cover face and mouth at all times

*Social distancing is a must, six feet between people. No hugging, no kissing

*If your loved one has a roommate please visit in a lounge or outdoors if weather permits

If your loved one is on a 10 day quarantine after returning from a hospital or rehab stay you will not be able to visit. New residents will follow the same rule. Fully vaccinated residents no longer have to quarantine after a day outing or a doctor’s appointment. If you are not able to adhere to the above rules, we will restrict your visiting options.

For the few residents that have not been vaccinated our pharmacy will be coming in over the next few weeks. They are offering a Johnson and Johnson single dose vaccine. After this round all but two of our residents will be vaccinated! 80 % of the staff have also received or will receive the vaccine as well.

Our residents have been covid free since May! We have strict rules in place to protect our residents and we expect that you will do the same to keep them COVID FREE.

Should you have any questions or concerns please contact me.

Happy Visiting!!
